As we have seen in several countries over the last six months, visa issuance rates are closely tied to return rates. Overstays, or even legal changes of status, can lead to increased rejections in key sending countries. This adversely affects both Sponsors and partners and limits the impact and effectiveness of these exchange programs.
The WYSE Crisis Management Working Group will build upon its session last year by sharing best practices from partner agencies and Sponsors on ways to improve participant return rates.
