Michelle is the product of a multi-cultural upbringing which has highly impacted her professional career. From Dallas, Texas to San Juan, Puerto Rico, Michelle has lived on US soil for most of her life. She began her career in education after experiencing first-hand what it is to study abroad in Madrid, Spain where she focused on Women’s Rights. After finishing her studies in San Juan, Puerto Rico she pursued a Master’s degree in Valencia, Spain. From that point, she has been fully immersed in her role as Program Coordinator at Advisers for International Programs in Spain (AIP), a study abroad provider in Valencia, Spain. Being able to witness the emotional and cultural growth of students throughout their stays is a constant motivator to keep recruiting students and show them the importance of equality.
