Agustina Gutiérrez is the Co-founder and Executive Director of TINGUA Intercultural Experiences, a company that promotes a positive and sustainable social impact throughout the world by international volunteering and professional practice programmes. Certified as a B Corp and joining the ranks of businesses that voluntarily meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability, TINGUA Intercultural Experiences is proud to balance profit and purpose.

Curious to learn about other cultures, Agustina has engaged in many intercultural experiences since high school. While studying International Relations in Córdoba, Argentina she was member of AIESEC INTERNATIONAL and Project Coordinator for European Union International Cooperation Programmes “AL INVEST”. Her professional career in the youth travel industry started as a Volunteer & Internship Program Manager for COINED International.  Her passion for travelling sent her to Brazil to work at a friend´s hostel. When she settled back in Córdoba, she opened her own hostel named LINK, today it’s a family business and has two branches in the city.

In 2010, Agustina and her Mexican friend Claudia founded TINGUA under a strong policy to work on long-term partnerships with agencies, suppliers and host organisations which aim to build a sustainable network and work together sharing the same ethical values, ideals and who are committed to the welfare of our global society.
