Targeting Canadian youth for work and travel opportunities
Thursday, 10 October – 12:20 – 12:40
Workshop area
International Experience Canada (IEC), managed by the Canadian federal government, facilitates opportunities for youth between the ages of 18 and 35 to work and travel in over 30 partner countries. While there has been an increase in participation since 2014, IEC would like to raise Canadian participation in the program even more. In this workshop, IEC will present the findings of recent research that will help organisations to better understand the travel preferences of young Canadians and effectively promote the benefits of work and travel experiences to Canadian youth.
