Sustainable Tourism Specialist, Travel Foundation

Kelly Galaski is a passionate sustainable tourism professional with 25 years of experience across the hospitality and tourism for-profit and non-profit sectors. For more than 10 years she worked with rural and Indigenous communities on community tourism experience development with Planeterra. During that time, she also developed responsible travel policies and sustainability practices for one of the world’s largest adventure travel companies, G Adventures.  More recently Kelly worked for the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), a regional destination management organization in British Columbia, Canada, leading its tourism research division.

Kelly is currently a Sustainable Tourism Specialist at the Travel Foundation, a leading international sustainable tourism organization, working with destinations globally toward achieving climate-positive and equitable tourism goals via destination stewardship strategies and capacity building programs.
