James Bell is the Global Chief Executive Officer for Alliance Strategies, an umbrella organization producing cultural exchange opportunities for young people worldwide through a variety of brands, including Alliance Abroad and GeoVisions.

With over 30 years of experience in the travel industry and nearly a decade in the cultural exchange industry, James leads the strategic operations of the Alliance Strategies holding company with offices in eight countries, ensuring the strategic and tactical development of these recognized brands founded on the idea of building an interconnected world by changing people’s perspectives and widening their professional horizons through cultural exchange.

James also directs governmental diplomacy and efforts in the cultural exchange arena, working closely with WYSE and other agencies in the US and abroad to ensure that the pathways to cultural exchange remain clear and open for young people across the world.
