Mark Overmann of the Alliance for International Exchange will lead a discussion that digs into the details of the current context around US Department of State BridgeUSA Programs. In particular, the discussion will address the current political dynamics in Washington, DC and how those impact the programs, a look ahead at the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election year and what that might mean for the programs and discuss and interpret remarks from the Department of State’s session the day before.
