I’m a member, how can I register for WYSTC?

All WYSE Travel Confederation members have received an email with a link to the WYSTC registration for your membership level. If you haven’t received this email or can’t find it, please send an email to events@wysetc.org

Is my organisation a member?

WYSE Travel Confederation members have applied for membership, met the requirements and paid the annual membership fee. To check if your organisation is a WYSE Travel Confederation member please see our membership list here.

How do I become a member?

To become a recognised member of WYSE Travel Confederation and to access the benefits that come with it, please complete the membership application form.

What are the registration fees for WYSTC 2021?

When does early bird registration end?

Early bird rates ended on 13 August 2021.

What are the payment methods available?

You pay by credit card or bank transfer. In order to verify payment and to process your registration as quickly as possible, we strongly advise payment by credit card. Payment by credit card incurs no additional fees. We accept credit card payments from Mastercard and Visa.  If you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please be advised that a bank transfer fee of EUR 100 applies. To pay by bank transfer please use our secured payment platform. We regret that direct SEPA payments are not possible.

Do I have to pay VAT?

For an in-person registration, all delegate organisations are legally obliged to pay Portuguese VAT at 23% over their registration fee. For a virtual registration, Dutch VAT applies. In some cases this will be deducted from your registration. For more information about VAT regulations, please click here.

What do I need to complete my registration?

You will require:

  • a professional photo which will be added into our business appointment scheduling system and will be displayed on your badge.  Photos should be a minimum of 200 pixels wide/ high and a maximum of 1000 pixels and no larger than 50MB.  The allowed file types are jpg, jpeg or png.
  • a company logo which will be added into our business appointment scheduling system.  Logos should be a minimum of 200 pixels wide/ high and a maximum of 1000 pixels and no larger than 50MB.  The allowed file types are jpg, jpeg or png.

I have started to register but didn’t complete my registration. Can I continue where I left off?

If you have received an incomplete registration email from us, then you should be able to continue your registration from where you left off. Click on the link in the email and enter the same email address you have used before. Make sure, you are using the same device as the system should have saved the details you have already entered.  If you are unable to continue with your email address, then please contact the WYSTC events team.

I would like to modify my registration. Can I log back in to my registration?

You can log back into your registration by clicking on the link provided in your booking acknowledgement and making use of your email address and the reference number provided which you have received by email upon registration. Please be informed that you are not able to change your name and organisation trading name or to cancel your registration.

Can I change my registration for another event of WYSE Travel Confederation?

All WYSE Travel Confederation events run independently; therefore, registrations cannot be exchanged for other events.

Can I give my registration to someone else? (name change)

Registration can be transferred from one delegate to another within the registered organisation for no charge before 1 September 2021. On and after 1 September 2021, an administrative fee of EUR 150 per name change will be charged. If you would like to change a name, please contact the WYSTC events team.

Can I cancel my registration?

We strongly advise that all delegates take out comprehensive travel insurance when attending any international conference. This insurance should cover you for cancellation of your hotel accommodation, flights and other costs but will depend on the cover available and taken.
In-person tickets can be exchanged for online tickets at no cost up to 48 hours before the conference starts. Please contact the events team for more details.

What precautions are being taken to ensure the in-person event can be delivered safely?

The health and safety of our delegates is our primary concern and we are taking regular advice from the WHO and the national and local public health authorities in Portugal to ensure that our event conforms to the latest health guidance. Additionally, the conference venue, the Corinthia, has put in place the following precautions:

  • The Corintha Lisbon was awarded the Clean & Safe Seal (Establishment according to health measures) by Turismo de Portugal
  • Ozoniser – UV emission to hygiene and purify the air in the elevators
  • Thermographic cameras at the entrance of the hotel, reception and lobby elevators
  • Hand sanitiser throughout the venue (floor & wall mounted touchless dispenser)
  • Information point at the entrance of the property
  • Infrared thermometer contactless for the restaurant and terrace
  • Luggage atomiser upon arrival
  • Air purifiers are placed in public areas to remove contaminants from the air
  • Bedrooms, meeting rooms and all public areas are extensively cleaned and disinfected.

Furthermore, the following precautions will be taken during WYSTC:

  • Business appointment tables, booths, seminar room and lunch area will be setup according to social distancing guidelines
  • Guidance provided to all delegates on social distancing and infection control best practices
  • All delegates will be asked to bring face masks to be worn in public spaces
  • Optional rapid tests will be available at the hotel
  • Travel-approved PCR tests (in English) will be available at the hotel for return travel

What is Marcom?

Marcom ACE is a simple online appointment scheduling tool. All WYSTC business appointments are managed online, booked and confirmed before the conference using Marcom ACE.  Appointments with virtual delegates will run via Marcom ACE. For virtual delegates it is also used to join the educational session.

When will Marcom be open?

Marcom will be opened approximately one month in advance of the event. The exact date will be announced closer to the conference. An email will be sent to registered attendees when the profiles are uploaded. From here you will have time to go in and finalise your profile before it’s visible to other delegates. In the weeks prior to the event, the platform will go live for trading. Then, you will be able to schedule business appointments.  

I have never used Marcom before, where can I find a tutorial?

The first time you log in, there will be a quick tour to show you the features of Marcom ACE. We highly recommend that you follow the tour and get familiar with the system.  

Why can’t I upload my headshot/company logo?

The requirements for headshot and company logo are between 400×400 px and 2000×2000 px in JPG, JPEG or PNG format. Please upload a professional headshot as it will be featured on your delegate badge. Pictures of your company logo, office and group pictures are not accepted as headshots.  

Can I change my name and company name on Marcom?

Unfortunately, you are not able to change your name and company name on Marcom by yourself. If you would like to make modifications, please contact the WYSTC events team. If you would like to transfer the registration to someone else within the registered organisation, an administrative fee of EUR 150 per name change will be charged. 

Where can I access the full WYSTC 2021 delegate list?

Once the platform is live for trading you will see a menu down the left-hand side of the window. Click the tab called Participants. From there you will be able to see all registered delegates for the event. Just above the list of delegates, you’ll see an Export Results button: this is where you can download the information you need. 

How many Business Appointments can I schedule?

You can schedule over 40 business appointments across the three conference days. Some business appointment slots run concurrently with educational sessions. By default, these time slots are blocked in your schedule. To book an appointment with another delegate during an educational session, you must unblock the same time slot. To do so, click on the relevant time slot, and click on unblock time slot.  

How long are the business appointments? 

Each business appointment is 20 minutes long.

What does the WYSTC registration fee include?

  • 30+ pre-scheduled face-to-face business appointments

How many delegates should I expect at WYSTC?
We have 100 spots available in Lisbon, and unlimited places online. We expect similar numbers of online delegates as at WYSTC Online in 2020.

Where can I find the delegate list of WYSTC 2021?

The full delegate list will only be available once Marcom ACE, the online business appointment scheduling system, is opened. It is only shared with registered delegates. However, all WYSTC buyers are listed on our website.
