Jason Merrithew
President, Merit Travel
Jason Merrithew is President of Merit Travel Group’s wholesale and specialty leisure travel business. In addition, he oversees the operations of Merit Travel Group’s Travelcuts and Exclusive Tours brands. Merit Travel, started in 1991, is one of Canada’s largest independent travel companies.
Jason has served as a member of WYSE Travel Confederation’s management board since 2015. He is particularly passionate about the role that youth travel providers play: “Never forget what you do as a youth travel provider; you help people take their first steps into the world on their own and with their friends. Remember the impact that had on you and don’t lose that passion!”
