Modesto Reyes is the founder and current president of OFIT (Oficina de Turismo e Intercambio Cultural), a leading cultural exchange agency with over 22 years of experience and operations in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Jamaica, and soon Ecuador. Under his leadership, OFIT has empowered more than 40,000 young people to live life-changing experiences abroad.
He is also the co-founder and president of ADAIC (Dominican Association of Cultural Exchange Agencies), where he actively promotes the development and professionalization of the industry in the country. Modesto holds a Bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Alcalá. On a personal note, he is a passionate athlete and an avid marathon runner, having completed nine marathons, including Berlin, Chicago, London, Tokyo, and New York City.
He strongly believes in the power of cultural exchange as a catalyst for personal, academic, and professional growth.
