Melina Saccal  began her professional career with a solid academic foundation in Law and English, going on to become a certified translator and working in that field for three years until a new adventure came along.

In 2000, she co-founded Milhouse Hostel in Buenos Aires — one of the city’s most iconic youth travel destinations. For over two decades, Melina has led the day-to-day operations of Milhouse Hostels, overseeing staff, reservations, and agency relationships while guiding the business through its evolution from a single hostel to three locations and into a full youth travel ecosystem offering accommodation, travel agency services, DMC operations, Spanish language programs, and volunteer experiences.

She knows firsthand what it takes to build and sustain a youth travel business in Argentina, in one of the world’s most dynamic and challenging markets.
