Luis Daniel Matías is the Founder and CEO of Grace International Exchange, a cultural exchange agency based in the Dominican Republic. An educator by profession with a specialization in Modern Languages (ESL and FLE), his journey in international education began as an exchange international Student in Utah State University and two-time Summer Work Travel participant, experiences that shaped his commitment to expanding access to meaningful cultural exchange opportunities.

In 2019, Luis Daniel launched a Spanish-language YouTube channel to help students better understand Summer Work Travel and other exchange programs. What began as an educational initiative evolved into a growing community of students across Latin America seeking reliable guidance and transparent information. That community ultimately inspired the creation of Grace International Exchange.

Today, Luis Daniel leads Grace with a strong focus on student support, ethical practices, and operational excellence. He is Treasurer of the Dominican Association of Cultural Exchange Agencies (ADAIC) and a member of the Coalition for American Public Diplomacy and Leadership (CAPDL), where he actively promotes collaboration and professional development within the international education sector.

At WYSTC, Luis Daniel brings the perspective of a former participant, educator, digital community builder, and agency founder, sharing how community-driven engagement and industry collaboration can strengthen the future of cultural exchange.
