Programme

How to inspire trust between higher education institutions and the student travel industry

Date – Friday, 26 September
Time – 16:40 – 17:00
Location – Workshop area, CCL

Student exchange programs face complex and ever-changing challenges in our multi-layered industry, but one aspect of J1 program never changes:the need for higher education institutions (HEIs) to collaboration and be actively involved throughout the student application process.

HEIs are a key element to participant success – from promotional and marketing activities to enrollment and immigration processes. In this presentation we will look at how HEIs can help, and hinder, exchange program effectiveness. Most importantly, we will talk about what we can do as an industry to inspire trust and build intentional relationships between educational institutions and the student travel industry.

Join us to gain an understanding of the role of HEIs in the student and youth travel industry, to recognise the impact that information-sharing can have, and to identify outreach tactics that can be implemented in relation to HEIs.
