Co-founder, Milhouse Hostels

After working as a certified translator for several years, Melina started working in the hospitality industry 19 years ago.  She has since then worked in the operation of Milhouse Hostels three locations in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Cusco, Peru, together offering a total of 550 beds. She is currently working with her partners on expanding into a new destination.

During these years, Milhouse has turned from primarily an accommodation provider into a tour and package operator, offering all kinds of tours, Spanish programmes, and volunteer projects, but still focussed on the hostel experience and quality.

As part of her training, Melina studied for a Diploma in Hotel Management in London and worked at Hilton Hotels. She also worked as a local representative for Travellers Worldwide, organising volunteer work and Spanish lessons.
