Donate school supplies for Ukraine
Millions of Ukrainian school children have been affected by the war, with more than two-thirds having been displaced. Children are having to deal with the stress and emotional struggle of becoming refugees and the trauma of witnessing violence. The interruptions to their education will have long-term consequences.
To this end, WYSTC is collaborating with Centre of International Cultural Exchange Programs, a Ukrainian agency that has established the Have Time Foundation. The aim of the Foundation is to collect school supplies for Ukrainian school children, both in Ukraine and abroad. Basic school supplies are desperately needed, as well as laptops and tablets in order that children can attend online lessons.
What supplies are needed?
1. Old laptops and tablets. Don’t forget to:
- Remove all your data
- Remove any passwords
- Bring the power supplies
2. School supplies, such as pencils, pens, agendas, binders, erasers, rulers, notebooks, lunch boxes, water bottles, scissors, pencil sharpeners, pencil cases, school bags, calculators, etc.
Where can I deliver the supplies?
There are two ways in which you can donate your supplies:
- Drop them off at the WYSTC registration desk at the CCL in Lisbon
- Post them to the French address of the Centre of International Cultural Exchange Programs. Please mark them as a a WYSTC donation and send them to:
