Ari Charlestein got his start in the travel world in 2007, at which point he was at the forefront of the points-and-miles boom. His award-booking services, First Class and Beyond and Award Magic were among the first in the space, and he regularly spoke at travel conventions around the US and Canada.
Since selling his businesses in 2022, Ari has been focussed adventure, experiential and most-importantly mystery travel, having taken over as the new owner and “Evil Genius” at Competitours. He now resides in Israel with his family, and spends his time building and leading unique, hands-on travel competitions for his Competitours travellers.
