Business Appointments

Q   What are the Business Appointments and how do I take part in them?
A   The Business Appointments are pre scheduled bi-lateral meetings between buyers and sellers. To register for the appointments you must complete your registration, create at least one team and fill in the form called Business Appointments Profile. The profile indicates the products and/or services you will be buying/selling at WYSTC.
Once fully registered you can use our registered delegate website to find all the organisations that are buying/selling the products/services you are buying/selling. For example you are selling hotel accommodation at WYSTC and would like to meet with organisations that are buying hotel accommodation. You simply use our website to find a list of such organisations. To find out more about the different organisations - go to their Trade Catalogue Entry (available in July).
To meet the organisations of your choice you need to submit a request form which will be available on our website in September.

Q   When do the Business Appointments take place?
  A   The appointments take place Thursday - Friday, 4 - 5 October.

Q   If I don't have a booth where will my Business Appointments take place?
A   If you are meeting with an organisation with a booth you will usually be scheduled to meet at their booth. If neither party has a booth a meeting table will be scheduled for each meeting. The location of your meeting is included on your Business Appointments Schedule. Please note! If both organisations have got a booth a meeting can take place at either organisation's booth. Please be sure that you check in your final schedule, where each meeting will take place.
