Association Meetings
WYSE Travel Confederation supports a network of 8 specialised sector associations:
- ALTO - Association of Language Travel Organisations
- IAPA - International Au Pair Association
- IASIS - International Association For Student Insurance Services
- ISIC - International Student Identity Card Association
- ISSA - International Student Surface Travel Association
- ISTC – International Student Travel Confederation
- SATA - Student Air Travel Association
- WYSE Work Abroad Association
These associations host a series of important meetings and workshops in conjunction with WYSTC, which provide members and interested newcomers alike with an opportunity to review industry developments, learn from each other, and network with potential business partners.
This year’s association meetings will take place on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd October
Annual General Meetings
- Annual General Meetings (AGMs) are the key forum in which members of an association discuss current and anticipated developments in the industry, review annual reports, approve budgets, and elect Board Members. The open and active exchange of ideas at AGMs helps to keep the associations focused on meeting key industry challenges and the special requirements of the association’s members.
Seminars, Workshops, Training and Special Sessions
- Seminars, workshops, and roundtable discussions organised by the associations and WYSE Travel Confederation itself offer WYSTC conference participants additional opportunities to gain insider knowledge on matters of vital importance to the youth travel, student travel, cultural exchange and international education community.
- Some sessions are restricted to Members only; others are open to all Conference delegates.
ISIC Workshops
- The ISIC Association conducts a series of workshops for ISIC Managers on a host of topics concerning the distribution, marketing, and technical aspects of the ISIC programme. The participatory style of ISIC workshops provides an excellent forum for ISIC issuers to learn from each others' experience and best practices.
The full schedule of association meetings and workshops will be available soon.
